ANDREW
LIVINGSTON & GEORGE MORRIS: PREVIEW:
Thursday 9 October 5 - 7.30pm An exhibition of paintings inspired by and celebrating the music of the American composer and political satirist Frank Zappa, who died 10 years ago this year, is due to open at Bradford Gallery on 10 October and will run until 28 October 2003. The exhibition features 22 paintings by artists Andrew Livingston and George Morris that have been inspired by songs which cover almost four decades of Zappa's work from the 1960s to the 1990s.
The vibrantly coloured paintings, in oils and acrylics, depict surreal, dreamy landscapes and curious interiors populated by fantastic people and creatures. All paintings are for sale. Zappa's music will be played during the exhibition. Bradford Gallery is open weekdays between 10.00am and 4.30pm. Entry is free.
